A new chapter for De Arend

After almost three decades in Intervest’s portfolio, De Arend in Edegem is ready for its next chapter.

Located along Prins Boudewijnlaan, the office complex comprises approximately 6,900 m² across three buildings. Developed in the late 1990s, De Arend became a valued part of Intervest’s office portfolio, known for its accessible location, green surroundings and human scale.

The property has been acquired by Next Stay, which plans to retain and renovate the complex. Under its new name, AXIS – ANTWERP, the site will be adapted to meet the needs of a new generation of occupiers. The renovation will preserve the qualities that have shaped De Arend from the outset while bringing the complex in line with contemporary office standards.

For Intervest, the sale is a concrete step in the continued evolution of its portfolio. Over recent years, the company has increasingly concentrated its expertise, investments and activities in line with its long-term strategic direction: expanding its position in logistics real estate.
