Intervest and Weerts Logistics Parks close milestone logistics deal of approx. €300 million in record time

Antwerp/Liège, July 2025Intervest and Weerts Logistics Parks (WLP) are pleased to jointly announce the successful closing of a major logistics real estate transaction. With a value of approx. €300 million, this deal ranks among the largest ever in the Belgian logistics real estate sector.

The deal comprises a strategically located portfolio of five assets, offering 250,000 of warehouse sqm. The portfolio – fully leased on a long-term basis to a diversified group of blue-chip tenants – is situated along Belgium’s key logistics corridors, the E313 and E42.

Though the deal involved complex structuring, the close collaboration and in-house expertise of both Intervest and Weerts—built on mutual trust—enabled a fast and secure execution, with the entire process completed in approximately three months from initial talks to final signing.

For Weerts Logistics Parks, the sale is a core component of its capital recycling strategy, aimed at supporting its continued growth, for its clients, across Europe.  The released capital will be reinvested into a robust pipeline of development projects spanning over 1.3 million sqm across Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Hungary – supporting its mission to deliver modern, future-ready logistics infrastructure across Europe.
