Intervest has taken an important step in its European growth journey by entering the French logistics real estate market. In partnership with Virtuo Industrial Property, a leading mission-driven logistics developer in France, Intervest will launch a €200 million portfolio of sustainable logistics developments across key French regions.

Strengthening Intervest’s European footprint

Expanding Intervest’s presence beyond Belgium and the Netherlands has been part of our European growth strategy. With this partnership, Intervest takes its first concrete step into the French market, reinforcing our ambition to become a leading player in sustainable logistics real estate across Europe.

A shared vision for sustainable logistics

This partnership brings together Intervest’s investment expertise and Virtuo’s proven experience in designing and delivering low-carbon, high-quality logistics spaces. Both companies share a strong commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and long-term value creation.

“Partnering with a best-in-class developer such as Virtuo perfectly aligns with Intervest’s strategy to expand our sustainable logistics footprint across Europe,” says Joel Gorsele, CEO of Intervest. “Together, we are creating modern, efficient, and future-ready facilities that support our customers’ growth while advancing environmental responsibility.”

First developments underway

The partnership has already launched several V.PARK projects, including sites in Chavagnes-en-Paillers, Montchanin, Les Essarts, and Montereau. Each of these projects targets BREEAM Excellent certification and integrates sustainable features such as rooftop solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and biodiversity-friendly landscaping.

Looking ahead

Under the leadership of Geoffroy de Guibert, Country Director France at Intervest, this collaboration marks a meaningful step forward in Intervest’s European strategy — combining growth, innovation, and responsibility to meet the evolving needs of modern logistics.

As construction begins on the first V.PARK developments, Intervest and Virtuo are paving the way for a new generation of sustainable logistics facilities in France.
